Paul’s Jag Bronze at Rawson Swimming

Paul’s Jag Bronze at Rawson Swimming

Despite a strong show of character and determination in both training, and the event itself, Paul’s finished in third place behind Wesley College (second place), and St Andrew’s (first place) in the 2021 Rawson Cup Swimming.

A fantastic effort was demonstrated by all involved. Freshman, Tim Hough, was outstanding in his Rawson debut, finishing second place in two of his events.

Convenors, Connor Whiteley and Ben Bradshaw, along with swim captain, Nathan Taplin, and diving captain, Lachlan Croker, displayed excellent leadership throughout the night, ensuring that morale remained high among the competitors despite many results on the night not going the College’s way.

This leaves Paul’s placed second overall, sitting on six points, in the 2021 Rawson Cup, behind Andrew’s on eight points. Rowing has been pushed back to Semester 2 due to a blue-green algae outbreak at the Sydney International Regatta Centre. As such, Paul’s will look to bounce back in the rugby campaign.
