Prepare to be transported back to the early 6th Century, as we embark on a tale of medieval adventure and mysticism. One of the greatest works of western music, Purcell’s operetta ‘King Arthur’ tells the story of King Arthur’s Britons as they battle the Saxons. Led by Ross Cobb and performed on a period orchestra of Australia’s best historically informed musicians. Performed in the open-air; bring a picnic rug or a chair and BYO drinks whilst surrounded by the stunning sandstone Quadrangle of St Paul’s College.
