At the end of this year, the Choir of St Paul’s College will embark on its first monumental tour of Europe. The Choir has been invited to serve as the resident choir at St Paul’s Cathedral in London, Westminster Abbey, Canterbury Cathedral, and York Minster, as well as to present public concerts at Saint-Sulpice, La Madeleine, and Saint-Eustache in Paris.
In preparation for this tour and to fundraise to support the students in the Choir, a Tour Farewell Concert will be held on Monday, 16 December, at 7 pm at St John’s Anglican Church, Darlinghurst. The program will feature works that will be performed on the tour, including Langlais’ Messe Solennelle and Howells’ Collegium Regale Te Deum and Jubilate.
We are delighted to invite you to this concert as we bid farewell to the Choir before they head to Europe to represent the College in some of the world’s most significant churches.
