In 90 minutes, Mummers will present a wonderfully refreshing take on all the Bard’s works (and we mean all). Some plays you know and love, some you have never heard of and a few that are definitely made up by the cast on the night. The play is fun, silly, and definitely not highbrow. From a cooking show starring Titus Andronicus to a sports game with every monarch in history, any audience member is sure to have an incredibly fun night! It’s a way to enjoy Shakespeare even if you never dug him in school, and this makes it all the more brilliant. It’s accessible art, made for the masses, the exact audience William Shakespeare wrote it for all those centuries ago.
